abbots langley orchestra

Abbots Langley Orchestra has been active in Abbots Langley since the early 1960s. Over the years its membership has fluctuated but now numbers about 40 members under the leadership of our new conductor, Richard Jacklin.

We meet usually every fortnight on Sunday evenings, from 7.30 to 9.30 pm with a short interval for coffee, in Central Abbots Langley.

At the end of each season (Autumn, Spring and Summer) we give a concert, usually in one of the Abbots Langley Churches and we are most grateful for the generosity of the presiding Father or Vicar.   We routinely import extra players for concerts, particularly in the brass and percussion sections.  Ideally we would like to see these desks filled by our own members. Sometimes our concerts are run in conjunction with a local charity. Ticket prices are currently £5 available on the door.
